Just a few. Or a lot.

Here are a few from our family trip to Sea World this past weekend. One thing I love about living in FL is being able to just decide to go to an amusement park on any given day, pack up the car, go, and be home for dinner. It's awesome!

This one makes me smile. My husband took G down to get closer to the whales before the Shamu show and one whale kept swimming by and splashing them. You can see my husband looking at his pants leg right after he got nailed!

Please ignore the rediculous looking haircut on my child. The lady really did the best she could given the fact that he was screaming and thrashing the whole time.

And here are a few from the 4d ultrasound I had on Tuesday. Haven't even met the little guy yet and I am already head over heels smitten with his face. This is the exact face G makes when he is sleeping. Holding his foot And because Y'all know I love baby foot shots!

These are making me very anxious...

for my new little man to arrive in May. Baby "P" was a complete DREAM. He didn't cry the whole time I was there!

And I can't forget big sister "A". That hair kills me. I always wanted a red-headed little girl.

I promise I will be back tomorrow, because I am going to share some personal stuff (4d ultrasound of baby #2 and a trip to Sea World). I just promised this mommy I'd get her a sneak peek!

I know....

I keep going away for long stretches. I have gotten several emails from blog stalkers wondering where I am...
I've been having a few minor pregnancy issues including one rather scary passing out incident. However, baby is looking good and I am starting to feel better too.
So enough rambling for tonight. Here's some of "A and J". I have been working with them since before "J" was born, and it's such fun to watch them grow. I am loving these stair shots!

Where have I been?

Honestly, I am not 100% sure. All I know is a week has gone by and I haven't even looked at my blog. The pregnancy brain is really starting to get to me I guess. I even had a couple of contests I was going to run and for the life of me I can't remember the specifics right now.
News: The updated website is live. There are still some changes I am going to be making but it's loaded with new images as well as some old ones.
Bigger News: I am considering offering a presentation to parents on taking better snapshots of your child(ren). The details are all still in the works but I want to see if that's something there is intrest in. It is not designed to teach you how to be a professional, but I will be sharing some tricks and tips that we pros know to help you get better pictures. You don't have to have a fancy camera or any experience.
If you think you might be interested in this presentation, please email me at Again, it's not meant to be something to take the place of professional portraiture, but since I can't be with you 24/7, I would love to share some hints.
To wrap up, here are a few images of a soon to be mommy (she may already be one). She was literally in labor while I did this session! She had 3 weeks to go, but had started having a bit of early labor the night before. Needless to say I was quite nervous that this was going to turn into a birth photography session!

Congrats winners!

I am right in the middle of finishing proofing 2 sessions, so no time for a lengthy post today (I heard that sigh of relief) but I wanted to get on and say congrats to "F" (#14) for winning the 2nd Valentines contest! His mom can pick any of the proofs of him, his twin brother "C" or the two of them together from their mini session for her free canvas. Just email me. Also, little "S" (#12) is our runner up, so her mom gets a free set of wallets! Be back soon. Maybe later today!

Valentines, part Deux!

Here's my second batch of valentines mini sessions. I am going to hold the same contest for them as I did with the previous ones. So here's the info! There is (hopefully) a poll on the righthand side of the page. Each of the following pictures is numbered. There is no #9....I just counted wrong, and I don't want to go back and fix them! Vote for your favorite cutie for whatever reason. The child with the most votes on Monday at 1 pm wins. Mom will get a free 8x10 (or equivalent) gallery wrap canvas of one of the shots of her child. That's a $125 value, so feel free to pass on the blog link to others you know!
I am also going to be running three more contests in the next week or two, plus I have plans in the works for a big announcement, and also the launch of the new look to my site, so please keep checking in!
