A story of boys and cake.

Once upon a birthday party, there was the cutest cake ever. For two little boys turning ONE!

Mr. F And Mr. C
Mr. C wasn't too sure about the cake, but he agreed to give it a whirl.
After a few cautious licks....
He was hooked...and messy!Mr. F, now he knew from the beginning that the cake must surely be a good thing. And eagerly dug right in...And just kept digging!Happy birthday little "F"!
Happy Birthday Mr. "C". I was happy to share your special day with you!

I know I have been MIA.

I think I underestimated the whole "working at home with two kids" thing...
It will get easier. But this week I have been proofing 5 sessions, while managing the kids and now I am having website issues. I can't get anything to load into my client galleries. If you're waiting on a session you've probably heard from me (or will by tomorrow) about your options for viewing your proofs. Thank you all for being patient and bearing with me. Needless to say I am not sure my house will ever be clean again. But I did want to come share some of Grady's birthday party. He had a blast!!!
The loot... Some moms might feel bad. I just laugh and grab the camera...

Threes a....

Charm?
Crowd?
Company?
I'm not really sure. But I do know it's a whole lot of fun! I had a great time with the "G" family. All three boys were a delight and it was great to play with them for a while last week!

Happy Friday

I will be taking most of the weekend off to celebrate this little man's THIRD birthday. I can't believe it. Think of him as he hasn't been feeling 100%, and I'd realy like him all better for his big day. I'll be back with more sessions (along with his third year portraits) next week!

Baby P.

Sometimes I pick on my dad a little. He has a habit of walking up to anyone he sees with a baby to hand them my business card. I get very nervous that someone is going to think he's nuts! In this case though, I was very glad that my dad found baby "P" and his parents. I had a great time getting to know his mommy and her family yesterday. Hopefully I'll get to meet his dad next time! He had a little trouble falling asleep for me, but once he did he was a model student! He didn't even pee on anything the whole time!
With his turtle...

This one is my favorite. I love the way mom is looking at him.

Also, I am debuting something new in this post that you'll be seeing a lot more of soon. My new logo! My fantastic freind Jenny did it for me!

The rest of the family...

I am having such a hard time going through these and proofing. Cutting any out is tough! "N,H and H" were awesome little subjects, and I am just eating up the color in these. They had a wonderful time breaking my cardinal rule of "don't say cheese". Of course, that worked to my advantage this time because every time they said "cheese" they broke into delightful giggles and smiles and I got exactly what I wanted!
Enjoy your sneak peek Lisa, I will have the rest done soon. If I can ever choose which ones to proof!
Oh, and if little miss H ever goes missing, I did NOT steal her *wink wink* ;)

It's kind of hard to see this small, but the chalk shows "peace, love and happiness"
