And even more than that, we love new babies. Well, put them together and you've got a winning combination! One of the best things about my job and the fact that I have young children is that my clients become my friends. The flip side of that is that it becomes even more exciting when my friends become my clients. This family and our family have been friends since before we were 'families'. In fact, baby Owen's mom was present during the 3rd date with my husband years ago, and was a driving force in why he kept calling me ;) She and my sister in law go way way back. She came to our wedding, I went to hers. She came to visit when I had Grady, and so now, 6 years later, I was thrilled beyond belief to take my turn visiting her little man, Owen. The fact that he looks like a doll did not hurt our encounter ;)
The fact that his daddy is a firefighter and had his work gear sitting nearby also did not hurt, and I definitely grabbed the opportunity to photograph Owen's teeny. precious self in daddy's boots.
Thank you Scott and Heather for sharing him with me, I can't wait to watch this little guy grow up. I know you can't, either.
