We three Kings

There's not much more sweetness than a Christmastime baby. I've had so many great newborns this season, and still a few more left to photograph, including one VERY special little one, my nephew Arie. Oh, I cannot WAIT!
Anyway, these three little boys were all just a dream to work with. So gorgeous.

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.- Matthew 2:9-11

Tuscan wedding

I know I have been gone for far too long, I have been busily working on all the holiday sessions and orders, and I am wrapping up the season. I'll be sharing some of those images in the coming weeks, but for now I will start with this beautiful backyard wedding I shot the day after Thanksgiving. The bride is all the way from the phillippnes, and is the new sister in law of my best friend. I'll just jump in, because I have been trying to get this post up all day and things keep popping up :)

Maj didn't want to wear a veil, so she opted for this less traditional flower crown. GORGEOUS. web4 web5 web6
Little stud muffin :)
web7 web8 This is the most beautiful little flower girl in the history of weddings. Although, I may be a bit biased since I have known her since she was a twinkle in her mama's eye. web9 web10 One thing you should know about this family. They LOVE to take pictures, and will resort to doing it on their own if no one is around to snap a shot. web11 web12
Wasn't it pretty?!? web13 web14 web15 web16

Ladies love a man in uniform!

And even more than that, we love new babies. Well, put them together and you've got a winning combination! One of the best things about my job and the fact that I have young children is that my clients become my friends. The flip side of that is that it becomes even more exciting when my friends become my clients. This family and our family have been friends since before we were 'families'. In fact, baby Owen's mom was present during the 3rd date with my husband years ago, and was a driving force in why he kept calling me ;) She and my sister in law go way way back. She came to our wedding, I went to hers. She came to visit when I had Grady, and so now, 6 years later, I was thrilled beyond belief to take my turn visiting her little man, Owen. The fact that he looks like a doll did not hurt our encounter ;) web1 web2 web3 web4 web5 web6 web7 The fact that his daddy is a firefighter and had his work gear sitting nearby also did not hurt, and I definitely grabbed the opportunity to photograph Owen's teeny. precious self in daddy's boots. web8 web9

Thank you Scott and Heather for sharing him with me, I can't wait to watch this little guy grow up. I know you can't, either.
