See you in 2008!

Faithful readers and clients, thanks for making 2007 such an amazingly fun year for me. Your comments, thoughts and emails both on my blog and in person truly make me realize how blessed I am and what an amazing job I have.

I am officially "on vacation" although I do have a session tomorrow morning. After that I am headed to CO, where I grew up. So on my return I promise some pictures of beautiful purple mountains. I also have 3-4 sessions I want to share here and a wedding.

Also upon my return, I will be running a couple fun blog contests to celebrate the year I have been blogging (my first post was one year ago today). So make sure to tell your friends and family to check in as my prizes will be awesome!

On that note I will leave you with a few pics of my G on Christmas eve. Oh and, we found out we're having another boy in May! It's been a fun year, and 2008 can only be more fun!

Another birthday girl!

This little cutie absolutely stole my heart the second I walked into her house. She reminded me ever so much of little "S" who I used to nanny for in Tennessee. Big eyes, cute little cheeks and the most winning personality. She told me all about her birthday coming up right after Christmas and how she's having a "Wizard of Oz" party. Her new little sister was also a doll baby. Happy birthday "M" Have an "over the rainbow" kind of day!

Big heart

These twins are such a riot and great to be around. Little "K" (the girl) has a heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot which was diagnosed before she was even born. She's been in and out of hospitals for most of her life having surgeries and procedures, yet you would NEVER know it to hang out with her for a little while. She's full of spunk and has a twinkle in her eye. She was even posing for me the whole time, which was cracking me up! Her brother "I" is a healthy dude who beats on his sister the way any other brother would. I am so happy to know them and I was glad to do a session for them. They'll be turning 3 right after Christmas, so leave them a birthday shoutout!

Santa has his hands full this year!

I took some shots of kids with Santa at a holiday party this weekend. This is my "G"'s favorite picture right now. He keeps asking to "see Santa and the babies!"

The two on the outisde are twins and the little one in the middle is their buddy!

Two posts in one day?

I really should be in bed, but I just wanted to get a few up from a recent family session with the "t" family. Now, this little guy knew how to do an EXTREME closeup....

Also, if he becomes some kind of famous surfer I am taking partial credit.

WOAH! What happened? Yep, white is the new black here at Courtney Vickers Photography. Over the next few weeks I will be updating my website to this new palate as well. New year, new me! BIG thanks to my friend Jenny Tumble Bumble Photography for designing my brand new logo ( this baby is stealing my creativity and I was fresh out of design ideas). Isn't it cool?

I'll probably be changing my banner pictures frequently, so watch for your little one(s) up top!

Sorry I have been MIA. I have been trying to play catch up with Christmas stuff, along with just being exhausted from chasing a toddler while pregnant. I will try to be updating a bit more.

I saw baby "J" about 6 months ago. I can't believe he's almost one now!

And an outtake. Just to show you how one year olds in general react to photo sessions. "J" was completely normal!
